2020年は新型コロナウィルスの影響により、私たちの生活様式が大きく変わった年でした。対面での交流の自粛が求められる昨今、研究者同士の交流機会は大きく減少し、アカデミアに重大な弊害をもたらしていると考えられます。そこで、昨年8月8日に、ウェブ会議システムを利用した演者募集型の研究集会『オンライン基礎昆虫学会議』を開き、研究交流機会の提供を試みました。その結果、25題の様々な分野の研究発表申込みを受け付け、当日は約150名の参加者を迎えることができました。また、閉幕後、多くの方々からご好評をいただくことができました。そこで、我々は、第二回オンライン基礎昆虫学会議を企画し、開催に向けて準備を整えました。

　第二回オンライン基礎昆虫学会議では、昆虫やその他陸上節足動物を対象にして、分類学・生態学・形態学など、さまざまなアプローチから基礎研究に取り組む学生・研究者の研究発表を募集します。若手・ベテラン・プロ・アマ問わず、さまざまな方々からの参加・講演申込みをお待ちしています。さらに、招待講演として、3名の研究者に発表をお願いしています（下記参照）。途中参加・退室は自由なので、興味のある方は、是非、ご参加ください。

　We will have an online conference for the researchers engaged in basic research (e.g. taxonomy, ecology, and morphology) of insects and other terrestrial arthropods. Although we cannot prepare our proceedings translated into English, foreign participants and English oral presentations are welcome. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us.

講演要旨（2月13日までに提出）

以下の要領で、公式メールアドレス（wakatekon.conference@gmail.com）へファイルをお送りください。

・メールの件名およびファイル名は『OCGE講演要旨_XXXXX（発表者のお名前）』としてください

・ Microsoft の Word で作成してください。

・1枚目には、「講演タイトル」と「講演者名」、「各人の所属機関の略称」を記述してください。

・2枚目には、本文のみ（1000字まで）を記述してください。

・図表を含めても構いませんが、本文が１ページを超えないように調整してください。

Please send the file of your abstract to the official email address (wakatekon.conference@gmail.com) until 13rd, February.

・Email title and the file name should be written as “OCGEAbstract_XXXXX(your name)”.

・Abstracts are accepted in the MS Word file format.

・In the first page of the file, please provide the information of “Presentation title”, “Names and affiliations of all presenters”

・In the second page of the file, please write the main text of your abstract (up to 500 words)

・Figures and/or tables can be included in the second page, though it should fit on one page.

～参加者のみなさま～

・本会議ではZoomを利用します。参加に用いるデバイス (PC やタブレット端末、スマートフォンなど）は、あらかじめ、講演タイトル集 ( 2 月14日発行予定) に記載されたマニュアルに従い、Zoomのインストール・アップデート・サインアップを完了させてください。

・本会議では、本会議の目的に沿わない不適切な発言を禁止します。

・講演者への質問は口頭による質問を優先的に受け付けます。口頭で質問したい方は、マイクの準備かマイクのあるデバイスの使用をお願いします。

・複数のデバイスで参加したい場合は、その旨、メールでお知らせください。

～講演者のみなさま～

・発表時間は15分（質疑応答込み）です。

・自身の講演時間の30分前にはログインするようにしてください。

・講演中は講演者のカメラをオンにしていただきます。マイクの準備に加えて、webカメラあるいはカメラ機能のあるデバイスの用意をお願いします。

・大会前日に、試写のための時間を設けます。また、当日も、試写用のZoomのルームを提供します。Zoomの操作、ファイルの動作に不安のある方は、ご利用ください（試写会の時間や詳しい操作方法は講演要旨集（2月20日発行予定）を参照してください）。

・Length of presentation is 15 minutes including the time for discussion with the audience.

・If you are a speaker, please join the meeting at least 30 minutes before your presentation.

・We would like to ask the presenters to show your video (turn on your camera) during your presentation.

・We will provide a time of preview screening for the presenters on the previous day of the meeting, also another room of Zoom for preview screening on the day of the meeting (see the proceeding issued on 20th, February).

～懇親会ご参加のみなさま～

・懇親会では、基本的に、カメラをオンにして参加していただきます。webカメラあるいはカメラ機能のあるデバイスの用意をお願いします。なお、タブレット端末でもご参加いただけますが、PCの方が操作は簡単です。

・懇親会はZoomを通じて行います。

・当日はブレークアウトセッションという、いくつかの小部屋に分ける機能を利用して、5～6名ごとにランダムで各部屋に振り分けます。部屋間の移動や参加者の所在の確認ができる設定で開催いたします（詳しい参加方法は懇親会マニュアル（2月20日発行予定）を参照してください）。

・In the post-conference party (using Zoom system), we would like to ask the participants to turn on your camera.

・In this party, participants will be randomly assigned to small rooms each of which 5-6 participants will be staying at.

・Participants can move to another room, please check the proceeding for the post-conference party issued on 20th, February (it is easier to use PC than tablets when moving between rooms).
